Backyard Proxy War T-Shirt — Defense Contractors Lobster Fight Meme

Nothing captures the majesty of global geopolitics quite like a handful of bored defense contractors standing around a dirt ring, placing bets on whose teenagers will rip each other's claws off first. Rendered in a grim, monochrome stipple that makes it look like a cursed textbook illustration, this piece is a loving tribute to the people who turn a tidy profit every time things get a little hot in the sandbox.

Why pretend it's about democracy or freedom when it's really just a high-stakes crustacean derby? Let Northrop Grumman and Raytheon empty their piggy banks while the kids do the pinching. It's the purest distillation of the military-industrial complex you can legally sport in public.

• Must be a Fortune 500 defense firm to place a wager.
• Claws will remain unbanded; we are playing for global market share.
• The loser goes home with a multi-billion dollar government bailout.
• Any resulting generational trauma is purely collateral.
