We had a plan for how you would first see our next game. It was a good plan, with music. Watching pieces of it surface anyway — out of order, and without the music — has been genuinely hard on a team that has given this project seven years of early mornings. We are sorry it is reaching you this way.
We are aware that an individual operating under the name CHETLEEK has claimed responsibility. We are working with the appropriate parties to identify them, and we cannot say more at this stage. We would ask that you do not attempt to identify them yourselves.
We have also been made aware of a public poll inviting viewers to select which portion of the game is released next. We would ask that you do not participate in it, and that you do not share it.
The game is close to finished. When it is ready, we would like the chance to show it to you properly — whole, in order, and on purpose. We think the difference will be worth the wait.
Finally: to everyone who has written in with kind words this week, thank you. It has mattered more than you know.
